Micro-Blading Eyebrows Aftercare Instructions

AFTERCARE IS VERY IMPORTANT, READ CAREFULLY
For the first 3 - 6 days, the color intensity of your procedure will be significantly darker, as well as larger and sharper than what is expected for the final outcome. Although the area will appear healed after 10 days, it will not be fully healed for 4 - 6 weeks (8 weeks for lips) to reveal the actual color, this is based on ow quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates.
One procedure cannot guarantee desired outcome. In some cases, we need to see how or clients react to the pigment and review the healing process after the first procedure. Therefore, a touch-up visit within 3 months of the first procedure may be necessary. In very complicated cases (involving removal/color correction/camouflage/scar tissue/iron disorder) an extra charge may apply on extra touch-ups.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • 2 - 3 hours after your procedure, gently splash the area with cold water, then use the sterile sodium chloride cotton ball to gently remove body fluids. Use a sterile Q-tips, re-apply your aftercare product.

  • Keep the area MOISTURIZED but not wet during the healing process (5 – 7 days). Use Aquaphor as an after care anti-oxidant. Gently apply with Q-tip 1 – 2 hours after the procedure. Gently apply the ointment twice in the morning and evening every day with Q-tips to cover the area with a thin layer evenly, or when you feel tender itchy or dry for 10 – 14 days. This provides pain relief, moisturizes and promotes healing to help retain color.

  • Avoid soaps/facial cleansers on pigmented areas (wash around them), pat dry with a clean towel.

  • Before showering, gently apply Aquaphor on pigmented area. DO NOT directly shower the treated area.

  • Before sleeping, apply a thicker layer of Aquaphor to keep the area moisturized overnight. Try to sleep on your back.

  • DO NOT rub, scratch or pick any crust along the tattooed area. Allow it to flake off by itself. Early removal of pigment crusts may result in lost color.

  • DO NOT apply makeup on the pigmented area during the healing process (10 – 14 days).

  • Avoid swimming, soaking, steam bath and facials for the 1st week.

  • Avoid sweat.

  • Avoid applying Exfoliates or AHA/glycolic acid products to the tattooed area for at least 2 weeks.

  • Avoid sun exposure (including tanning beds) during healing process.

  • The eyebrows may be swollen for the first few hours. The color will look darker for the first 5 days until the scab peels off, at this time it will lighten.

  • After your eyebrows are completely healed, you may go back to your regular cleansing and makeup routine.

  • Use sun block after the procedure area is healed to protect from sun fading.
